We have looked for ways to correct imbalances in the autonomic nervous system (sympathetic fight or flight) and parasympathetic (our Vagus Nerve that goes from our brain to all the organs of the body). I have finally found a system that works and we are trained in it!

The system is called Hypothalamus Reset Technique. It was developed by Dr. Michael Chance in Florida – a fourth generation muscle testing chiropractor. He developed it to help is son, Justin, who had gastroparesis. This is a condition where the stomach signals the brain it is full, even after a few bites. Justin could only eat a few bites before he had to stop eating. This eventually lead to hypoglycemia and seizures. No medical treatment helped. With the Chance HRT Justin is now able to eat normally with no hypoglycemia and no seizures.

The hypothalamus is the “Brain of the Brain.” Imbalances in brain communication cause the hypothalamus switches to be turned off or “short circuited”. The Chance Hypothalamus Reset Technique (Chance HRT) with simple spinal reflex points and acupuncture points, turn the switches back on and allows the body to return to normal function.

Dr. Michael Chance has over 10 years and counting of subjective research in over 3500 documented patient cases and over 21,000 treatments. This collective data has contributed in the development of treatment protocols for ADD/ADHD/OCD, anxiety, brain communication, depression, arthritis, digestive disorders, insomnia, sugar handing problems including diabetes and thyroid issues.

The hypothalamus regulates:

  • Pituitary gland
  • Thyroid
  • Adrenal
  • Reproductive system
  • Autonomic Nervous system (Sympathetic & Parasympathetic)
  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate
  • Neurotransmitters
  • Mood and behavior
  • Body temperature
  • Hunger and appetite
  • Sleep cycles

Dr. Chance says his methods for most people are “one and done’ after we reset the brain it should hold unless you have a big brain trauma or general anesthesia. Although the more chemicals that you are exposed to, it may short circuit again.
